
I’m Katy. I struggled with my weight my entire life. Even as an active, sporty kid, I was bigger than my teammates. As an adult, I tried just about every diet under the sun and nothing really worked. Until I decided to give keto a try. And now it’s not a diet – it’s a way of life.
It took me a while to wrap my head around it. After all, we’re programmed from a very young age to be afraid of eating fat and instead we’re encouraged to eat low-calorie, chemical-laden, carb-loaded stuff instead. But with keto, LCHF, or low carb eating, it’s about getting back to real food using real, natural ingredients.
I wanted to be certain I was doing it right, so I read all the scientific research I could find. And then I took a diploma in ketogenic nutrition and became a member of the Complementary Medical Association. So now I’m a certified keto nutrition coach and I’m continuing my own keto journey. I’m not quite ready to share my before and after pics yet because my weight loss journey is still in progress. But soon I’ll be ready to reveal them!
I started Katy’s Keto Kitchen to make real, nutritious keto food accessible to anyone. The low carb and keto recipes I develop are simple and contain real, natural ingredients. You don’t need insanely expensive ingredients or weird appliances to make fantastic, healthy, and really, really tasty food.
Yes, food is fuel, but it should still bring you pleasure, and making it shouldn’t be a huge headache. So join me on this amazing journey and discover some beautiful food along the way.
